The Consignment Process
Gather your gently used, modern outdoor gear and clothing! Make sure everything is washed and in working condition.

We take functional, clean, and modern outdoor gear and clothing from high-end outdoor brands. For a more detailed list of items and brands we do and do not accept, you can follow the link below.

We take ski and snowboard equipment that is modern and in good condition! We cannot accept old ski and snowboard gear due to compatibility and safety issues. Please look through our Snowsport Consignment Guide for details on what we can and cannot accept.

If you've never consigned with us before, we will have copies at the store for you to fill out and sign when you first bring in items, but you are welcome to print off and fill out a copy at home to bring in if you'd prefer.
If you have consigned with us before, you do not need to fill out the consignment form again.
Bring your items in on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, unless you've previously made an appointment for another day! Please plan for the consignment process to take around 15 minutes.
- When you come in, you can go straight back to the consignment counter. If you need help bringing items in, just let us know!
- If it's your first time consigning, we'll give you a brief overview of the online account and then have you fill out our Consignment Agreement.
- We'll take a look through your items while you browse around the store, and then give you back any items we cannot consign for you.
- First time consignors will get an email later that day with a link to where to login to your online account, as well as your Consignor ID and a One-Time Password. (This email gets sent through an automated server and some emails will block it - please check your spam folder and let us know if you don't receive it by the end of the day.)
Reminder: We take up to 12 clothing items per consignment drop but unlimited gear items! If you are from out of town, we can accept more but please call ahead.
We will enter your items into your account and then research and price them! You'll be able to see all of your items in your online account and what they're priced at.
Please Note: We do our best to enter your items into your account as soon as possible. However, we are a small time and during busy times it may take a week or two for items to be entered.
You'll also be able to see the status of all your items:
Active: Out on the floor to be sold this season.
Unavailable: In storage to be put out next season. (Also used to take items off the website if they aren't included in the current sale.)
Donated: Item has been donated. We donate items at the end of our Summer End of Season Sale and the end of our Winter End of Season Sale. Items may also be donated if we find a stain/tear/broken zipper/etc - so be sure to check over your items before bringing them in!
As your items sell, the money will build up in your account and you'll be able to see your total consignment credit!
Below is the percent that you receive base on what the item sells for:
You can either use this amount in-store and receive an extra 10% or you can request a payout by calling or texting 306-371-3690, emailing payouts@lifeoutsidegx.com, or asking in-person at the store.
How payouts work:
- When you request, will be added to the payouts list for the following week.
- Payouts are done through e-transfer unless you request a cheque. We may also need to write a cheque for larger payouts.
- If being paid out by e-transfer: you will receive the e-transfer to the email associated with your account by the end of the following week.
- If being paid out by cheque: you will receive an email when it is ready for pick-up or we can mail it out on request.
Please Note: At this time, the system we use does not send notifications when items in your account sell, so it is your responsibility to check your account.
