Join us for an unforgettable 5-day canoe trip in beautiful Northern Saskatchewan, located on the traditional lands of Treaty 10 territory and Stanley Mission First Nation, part of Treaty 6. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking wilderness of the Churchill River system, where you’ll paddle to a backcountry base camp near Little Stanley Rapids. From there, spend your days exploring by canoe and on foot, enjoying the pristine beauty of northern Saskatchewan.
TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
- Launch at Stanley Mission and explore the scenic Churchill River system
- See the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, the oldest building in Saskatchewan, before paddling across Mountain Lake
- Base camp at the peaceful campground on the island between Little Stanley and Stanley Rapids
- Three days of adventure: paddle to Nistowiak Falls, learn paddling skills and have the chance to play in the rapids, explore Drope Lake, and swim, fish, and soak up the wilderness

We'll drive you and all the gear from Life Outside Gear Exchange to where we'll launch in Stanley Mission and then back at the end of the trip. You don't have to worry about driving or directions!

We'll provide you with high-end camping gear, including:
Plus we'll supply all the canoes, paddles, pfds, safety equipment, dry bags, camp kitchen supplies, packable camp chairs, and any other group gear, so all you have to bring is your clothing and personal items! We'll send a detailed packing list to registered participants.

We ask that everyone brings money to buy lunch on Day 1 and supper on Day 5. The plan is to stop in Prince Albert or La Ronge on the drive there and back.
We also leave it up to you to bring any snacks you may want between meals!
